This ruined stable block was at the rear of a grade two listed building which is currently used as a residential care facility. As part of a large scale refurbishment and planned 18 bedroom extension Phillips Build were asked to restore it to its original form, adding an internal fit out that would be used as an office for the Home.
All materials from site that could be saved and reused were, including bricks and tiles. The windows and doors had to be hand made to match exactly what was originally there with some details coming from old photo’s.
This is the first part of three phases which will result in a large 18 bed extension being built at the end of 2015.
